Privacy and AI Notice
SwimLedger stores account information, athlete identity details, race history, selected standards, preferences, and reports so athletes and households can track swimming progress. Parents or legal guardians should manage accounts and consent when a swimmer is a minor.
Information used by AI features
AI planning is optional. When enabled, SwimLedger sends a minimized performance summary and the notes entered for the requested plan to OpenAI. Full account email addresses and last names are not required for plan generation. Allergy, nutrition, or mental-preparation notes are sent only when the user chooses the corresponding feature.
Important limitations
AI output is educational and may be inaccurate. It does not replace a coach, physician, registered dietitian, therapist, or emergency service. A coach remains the source of truth for race strategy.
Your controls
- AI processing can be enabled or revoked from Account settings.
- Stored plans and athlete records can be removed in the application.
- A complete account-data export can be downloaded from Account settings.
- Account deletion removes the authentication account and owner-scoped records through database cascades.
